It all started with a cat called Scotch
From a small shelter built for a stray cat to a connected house designed and made in Belgium.

One summer morning
A wild, hungry cat turned up in my garden. I gave him food and water. We already had two cats, so why not a third?
Day after day he became a little less shy, and he was always "stuck" to the kitchen window. So I called him Scotch.

The very first house
Winter was coming and Scotch was not yet tame enough to come inside. So I built him a small house with a roof, good insulation and heating. That is where it all began.

From an idea to a project
A few months later, thanks to Benjamin Burgeon, a marketing student, we were accepted by Charleroi Entreprendre to launch our connected cat houses.

Five years of testing
More than five years of testing and fine-tuning in real conditions, with real cats, summer and winter. Then the first AnimHouse houses were born.
The founder
Vincent Ghislain
Civil engineer, passionate about electronics, computing and DIY, I set out to build these little houses.
The project brings together many trades: architecture, materials, electronics, software, logistics and setting up a company.
One thing guides every choice: the well-being of the cat. This house may become his main home, so he has to feel good in it.
